Artist, Owner, and Founder - Kim earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Buffalo State College in 1999, and has since dedicated her life to teaching art to thousands of children in the Triangle. The simple and profound concept that drawing is a teachable skill is gently reinforced through her proven step-by-step method of teaching, in every art lesson. With 20 years experience as an enrichment specialist, Kim believes - more than ever - there are no mistakes in art.
Program Coordinator Dan Murdock - Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill in 1993. Following a 20-year career in Information Systems , he enjoyed 3 years in Subaru sales. Now, he is delighted to partner with his wife Kim as they work together to take Afterschool Art and More to the next level.
Educator and Author Angie Marino - Angie earned her Bachelor of Education degree at DePaul University in 2000. Her years of experience as a dual language elementary school teacher and her love of language have provided her with a vast array of valuable skills to design unique Writing and Spanish Camps.
Gwynne MacIntyre - Gwynne recently retired from 20 years of teaching in elementary education. She is excited to combine those skills with her love of visual arts. Gwynne received her education Masters from the University of Tennessee. Before that, she led the Knoxville Arts Council, the Greensboro United Arts Council festivals, as well as the touring programs at the N.C. School of the Arts. She also studied music at Mary Washington University, and earned an Arts Administration Master’s Degree at Indiana University.
Amanda Brady - Amanda is a dual language elementary school teacher at Frank Porter Graham Bilingüe. She earned her Bachelor of Science in World Language Education and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Georgia in 2013 right before moving to Chapel Hill. Her love of language, teaching and art have led her to combine her talents and passions as an Arts Afterschool teacher.
